or

Download Accelerator Plus

or is there any other good download manager anybody is aware of?? it would be great if you could help, thnks

If you are using cable or dsl internet there is no need really for a download manager, would only recommend if using dial up.

mmm i hav DSL but its REALLY SLOW at times. especailly when i hav to share the bandwidth ><

I used Wget when I was having trouble d/ling a big game file. As I was doing the download over several days (2 hrs per time) a manager was essential. It worked well for me, but it took a while to work out how to make it resume the d/l on subsequent days, as the source IP kept changing.
I'd say that if you want to d/l smaller files, Firefox has an adequate manager that will allow you to pause/resume over short periods.

Internet Download Manager is pretty good. I've used it for a long time but really, there is not any difference in my download speed if i just used the regular manager that my explorer provided.
