Download Managers

I don't recommend any download managers. Any certain reason why you think you need one?

If you are using cable or dsl internet there is no need really for a download manager, would only recommend if using dial up.

I used Wget when I was having trouble d/ling a big game file. As I was doing the download over several days (2 hrs per time) a manager was essential. It worked well for me, but it took a while to work out how to make it resume the d/l on subsequent days, as the source IP kept changing.
I'd say that if you want to d/l smaller files, Firefox has an adequate manager that will allow you to pause/resume over short periods.

Internet Download Manager is pretty good. I've used it for a long time but really, there is not any difference in my download speed if i just used the regular manager that my explorer provided.
