Enabling Dual Channel

same color. some mobos have the slots every other color while others have both the dual channels right next to each other. just as long as both sticks are on the same color, you're good to go
Not all boards will see two different colored slots. oops! The first place to look is in the user manual that comes along with the board. Simply go to the section on installing memory and a look at the board's diagram for slot identification like A1, B1, slot #0, slot #1 in order to verify which slot is the first for each channel.

Once you download it to a folder simply double click on the file whether simply in Vista or with a zip file utility in XP to unpack the files in it. In Vista a new sub folder will be seen in the folder you download it to. You simply right click on it to choose the create shortcut option if you want a desktop icon seen.
