external hd USB enclosure

hello, my motherboard gave up on my compaq presario v2000 and i really need data from the hd and i read that i can get a external USB enclosure to extract some info from the hd. can someone help me figure out what kind i need. the hd is a seagate momentus 4200.2 http://www.seagate.com/ww/v/index.j...90cc7110VgnVCM100000f5ee0a0aRCRD&locale=en-US

im am looking for a cheap external usb enclosure on ebay that will do the trick, can someone tell me what i need? i dont know the difference between sata and ide and whatnot and thats where im getting confused.

thanks alot for your help. I will look and see is i can find a 2.5 inch ide here in the states because everytime i order from hong kong it takes forever. I have some documents for work that i need to get asap, nothing real important but the sooner the better. thank you very much for your help.
