Friends laptop

My friend has one of the most current mac apple laptops with like...core duo i think.
He wants to game CSS on it.

How would he go about doing that?

could he just buy a windows OS and install with nothing else?
or does he need additional software to install windows.

If he has integrated graphics on it then he wont be able to play CSS but he should be able to play CS 1.6.

1.) Use CS1.6 or CS CZ instead.
2.) Buy a new laptop.
