hi could u tell me if the geforce 6200 will be ok with my 250w psu as i dont want 2 buy it if it will not power it thanks

p4 ht 3gz
1.5 gb ram
western digital 40gb

You'll want to purchase a new PSU, make it at least 450w or more. You will save yourself a big headache later.

I think most people say you should run about 18 amps on the 12v rail when using a 6200... If your current power supply is putting out that much, it'd be fine. If not, I'd suggest upgrading. Wattage isn't everything, be sure it's got enough amps first.

I ran my old GF 6200 on a 185w power supply... that thing only had 10 amps on the 12v rail.

Even though i ran mine with a 185w @ 10 amps, i'd still recommend 250w and 15 amps as a minimum...
