get rid of 1 copy of xp on my computer

i have 2 copys of xp 1 is in the windows folder
one is in the windows2 folder

i dont want the one in the windows 2 folder any more
it offeres me a choce when pbooting up and i want to get rid of the choice as well
how can i do this without losing everything else on the drive?

well, since no one has posted on this i will take a stab at it. I personally would try and see if you just can right clck on the folder and try to delete it that away. But, maybe wait for some more advice before going to that last resort option.

but deleting the folder wont help .. even after deleting the folder .. your system will still recongnise 2 Xp .. and when u try to enter the copy of Xp( windows2 ) that u have delete.. it will report an error .. but .. i dont know the solution ..

hit edit button and delete the os that u want to remove from the boot menu.

Delete it. Then you will have to go to your boot.ini file and delete it there also.

Just get Boot and nuke. Copy it to a floppy and go for it!!!
