getting dos prompt back

I've got a problem... a DOS problem. I was trying to add something onto Free Bar, and when I opened DOS, I found that the prompt had changed to "C:\WINDOWS\Installer\<90140000-003D-0000-0000-0000000FFICE>".

How do I get it back to just the regular C prompt as a default?

Yeah, I tried that, and it will give me the regular prompt back, but when I pull DOS back up, after closing it, it still comes up the same long line. Isn't there a way to set the default prompt?

Change the properties of command prompt to this. Only change the start in box to c:\

I can't find this display.

Right click on the command prompt icon in start menu and click on properties.

that worked. I was right clicking a shortcut on the task bar.
