Getting slow download speed using ethernet from TP-Link Archer A54 AC1200

I bought a TP-Link Archer A54 AC1200 about 3 weeks ago. MY Wifi is working fine, but about 3 days ago my ethernet speed dropped from my usual 250-300 Mbps to about 90 Mbps. Spectrum sent a technican yesterday and tested the system. When he tested the signal coming directly out of the modem is was the normal 250-300 Mbps, but after testing it diectly through the router it drops to about 90 Mbps. I have looked a number of places and cannot seem to find a solution.

I am running Win 10 Pro
Router Info
Hardware Version: Archer A54 v1 00000001
Firmware Version: 0.9.1 0.4 v0001.0 Build 211108 Rel.33223n(5553)

Thanks in advance for any help.

Ignore that. It looks like that router isn't gigabit speed so you'll only get speeds up to 100mb/s. You bought the wrong router.

Yikes! I hate it when they do that stuff... have fast wireless but then skimp out on the Ethernet.... Hope you can get a refund or a swap at least!

Couriant No Kidding.. I just bought a Linksys router with 1.3 Gbps speed. That should do the trick. LOL
