best bet might be to find something used on craigslist...

Why not just wire it? It's much, much faster than wireless, especially from a cheap router.

I have been doing that, I run a 100 ft cable to the living room. Just tired off having to reboot my modem everytime I want to switch over from my computer to xbox And I also want to be able to connect my iTouch around the house.

I'm thinking of turning in my $6 a month modem lease and buying a modem/router that can maximize my 18mps plan. any suggestions?
