I just recently bought a new motherobard, CPU and RAM along with a new hard drive.
so to setup my new computer I installed a fresh copy of windows onto my new hard drive.
I have since plugged in my old data hard drive but its showing up as not intialised, even though it has previously been intialised in my old computer.
I definately haven't formatted it, and I don't want to inatilise yet incase I lose my data (as I think inatilsing it is for formatting??).
I only plugged in the hard drive after I installed windows.
I don't have a backup of my important data as my backup (my Ipod) recently died and is being repaired, (I was gona put everything important back onto my ipod).
Any ideas how to get it to show up with all my data?, the drive itself is showing up as a healthy drive.
