Help $800 Budget For Gaming PC (First Timer)

So after ordering all my parts and having them already shipped I see this deal on newegg. I fell pretty bitter...

Was it a significant amount that you would have saved?
Welll now that Ive done the math by adding the GPU I got and the shipping this combo came out to be $829.99-$40 in rebates bringing it to $789.99. My build came out to $835.57-$50 in rebates bringing it to $785.57. So my build is cheaper with 2x as much RAM (8gb vs the 4gb in the combo) but the deal has a 1tb HDD so I guess it was a trade off. Im gonna be using my 750gb HDD so I guess I didnt really miss out on much in the end
