Help needed please

Hello all,
When I try to run Symantic, Spyware Doctor, MalwareBytes, etc...they all freeze on the same exact file & my computer locks up. The only way to un-freeze my PC is forcing the power off. The file is as follows:

c:\My Backup – 09-04-20 1148AM\Documents and Settings\LocalSevice\Local Settings\Temp\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE\index.dat

Any help is greatly appreciated!

When you start your computer, keep tapping F8 and boot into Safe Mode.

Try your scans again.

Yes, try to scan your computer in Safe mode.

Your computer might be infected with virus or other malwares
in order to resolve this issue ,try to restart your computer in safe mode and finally scan your computer , with any of the antivirus software .
