hey everyone, i need some help on this, and fast, i want to order it tomorrow! i have been fortunate enough to be given some money for a new system, i have got 3 quotes, one from amari, xworks and gladiator, i wasn't happy with amari so here are the system i am torn between, both very different in their set up, i run 3ds max for animation and rendering, and also i run photoshop and occasionally use solidworks, which of these 2 are best for an all around good system, also if you could tell me why you chose the one you did aswell! cheers! thanks everyone, ian

No they're out lol I just though Intel was the only ones in the Dual-Core market, I guess I was wrong lol...

The first system obviously. The E6300 is a bit better than the X2 4200+, however, the graphic card in the first build is superb. 2 hardrives are better than one. The motherboard in the first build is a better than the crappy intel mb.

Well yeah, you're wrong.

IBM's POWER4 CPU was the first dual core processor.

Even if you are comparing AMD and Intel, you're still wrong.

Intel released the Pentium D in May of 2005, meanwhile AMD released the Athlon 64 X2's in June of 2005.

Well why is intel's dual core faster then AMDs'?

i go with the sentiments about the first sytems, although it has a slower processor i would say the overall build was of a far better quality, go with the AMD :)
