Silly question, when I first brought my computer I set it up with 32 bit instead of 64 bit, does anyone here know how I can fix this?

A re-install of the Operating System is the only answer.
As for why you would want to go to 64bit, at the moment there are not enough good reasons for the average user.

Only reason to go 64 bit is 4 GB+ of RAM.

There are drivers designed for 32bit version that wont work on computers running a 64 bit. You may contact the manufacturer of the device if they have an available driver for the 64bit.
