hi everyone I just wanted to see your thoughts on this motherboard that I switched over to: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130565

the reason that I switched over to this Mobo is because I read the reviews on every site I could find and all the customers had the same problem, they said that the Bios wasn't good and that It would freeze very often.

so what do you think about this one and just If you wanted to see, here is the MObo I was going to get before I found this one:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128514&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-RSSDailyDeals-_-na-_-na&AID=10521304&PID=4169961&SID=yb9xr0mfc4hvhttp://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822152185&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-RSSDailyDeals-_-na-_-na&AID=10521304&PID=4169961&SID=1w64sj55xvygr

Thank you

Is that what I said? If that's what you got from what I said that's not what I meant sorry haha. I meant, If your budget allows for a little bit more expensive board, the board I recommended is much better in my opinion even though it's a little bit more. In the end it's up to you, just making a suggestion. I'll keep looking though, what is your maximum you're willing to pay by the way?

More USB ports, a Gbp/s SATA port, PATA port (Parallel ATA), double the amount of PCI e ports as well as overall better reviews. My friend also owns the motherboard I showed you, he used the overclocking software, said it was a breeze as well as just a great board. I'm sure there are a few small differences but those are the only ones I can remember that are "major". And what is your budget by the way?

Unless you plan on gaming at pretty crazy resolutions like 2560x1600, go with the 6870 100%

^That sounded unclear, I mean if you play at high resolutions (aka anything above 1920x1080) go with the 6950, if you play at 1920x1080 or lower, go with the 6870 and save 85$

but more or less it will give me the same fps at 1920 x1080 right?
