How to choose a power supply

Hi everyone,

i am building my own computer and i really dont know what power supply i need to go with, i was thinking about an enermax 550W, but i dont know if i am wasting my money because i wont use all of it. my computer consists of:

motherboard: ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe Socket-939 nForce4 SLI ATX
Power Sup: ?????????????????
CPU: AMD 3500+
Vid. Card: GeForce 6800 GT 256 mb (pci express)
Ram: corsair (XMS Series)
HD: Maxtor 200GB
Sound Card: i dont know yet
LCD: 20.1" (16 ms or less response time)

Any advice given would be greatly helpful, thank you.

That PSU is a good pair for the restof the system Some others to consider:

-Antec TruPower 480
-OCZ Powerstream 520
