I have a Logitech Quickcam Pro 9000 and I am trying to use it to chat with my girlfriend in Europe and I am having some problems.
When I first started using the cam it worked fine on the computer, but I had various problems getting it to work with AIM, but I could get it to work with Skype. But now I have a completely different problem. When I plug in the cam the computer recognizes it and says that it is working properly (under devices and printers), but when I use logitech's software to use the cam (Logitech Webcam Software) and I go to quick capture it says that the cam is in use by another program.
Needless to say I do not have anything that should be using it, that I know of. I have searched online and this seems to be a common problem but no one knows what to do.
Can someone help me? Is there a way to find out what software is using what hardware?
I am using Windows 7 RC Build 7100 64 bit
Thank you
