Hows this simple setup for Left 4 Dead 2

Just wondering how this system will work for new games like Left 4 Dead 2, its just a simple cheap setup. AMD Phenom™ X4 9750 2.4GHz, 1066MHz, 4MB, Windows 7 64bit, Memory 4GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 800MHz- 4 DIMMs, nVidia GeForce GT 220, 1024MB, Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio, 500GB Serial ATA Hard Drive (7200RPM) w/DataBurst Cache. Would i be able to use High settings or max for Left 4 Dead 2. I play at 1024x758.

I'd say you are well equipped to play games like left 4 dead 2.

GeForce 8600 GTS spanks it.

You might be able to play your game on low settings.

Second that. Everything looks fine until you get to that GPU. There's no way you'd get high with that thing.

A GT 220 has nowhere near the performance of a GTX 260.

havent posted in a while but ive been lurking, and i had to post an LOL to this one...

my 3870 can max l4d easy with 60+ fps, and that card is 2 generations old now. still a nice card.

I'd recommend something like a 9800GTX or a HD 4850... a GTS 250 would also be a good choice.

yeah damn, i just researched that card, doesnt run that well, I had SLI 7950s and they ran fine so I was a bit suprised to see that card only gets 30 fps on 1440 x 900 resolution
