HP dv2100 won't start up

I have an HP dv2100 that will not come to life. When I press the power button the power led comes on, but no fan or anything else. I've tried reseating the ram, removing the dvd drive and hdd, and disabling the lid switch. Any ideas?

You probably have the defective chipset issue caused by overheating. It's not worth fixing it.
