It's a great budget cooler, it will fit in your case, and it should run quieter than stock. :)

The Hyper is a nice cooler. However you shouldn't be running at 50C while surfing with the stock cooler.
Try reapplying the thermal paste. Grab some nice paste if you don't have any lying around.
If you're not gaming much and don't have an over clock on the CPU then there should really be no need for an aftermarket cooler, unless noise is a concern.

The updated Hyper 212 is now called the Hyper 212 Plus and it will be Cooler Master’s first of many LGA1156 and LGA1156/1366 compatible coolers to come. Again we spot DHT as in Direct contact heat-pipes, dual fan cooling options and new PWM fans are now included into this cooler design.

There are many factors to consider when deciding what to buy for your CPU. Probably the most important factors to consider are how well the heat sink performs and how big of a hole it eats out of your wallet. Yet another factor to consider is how much headroom you have when overclocking. A good heat sink needs to be able to take the increased heat of an overclocked CPU.
