I5-2550k vs i5-2500k

The i5 2500k has a IGPU, while the i5 2550k dont. The 2550k is clocked 100GHz more then the 2500k.

I believe that you could reach higher clocks at lower temps with the 2550k, do to it not having a IGPU.

Edit: Only get the 2550k if you have a dedicated GPU, and planning on pushing it far. If not, get the 2500k. Dont get me wrong, the 2500k is a beast, but like whats been said, you can get there with lower temps(possibly with lower voltage) with the 2550k.

the 2550k does have an IGPU, its just disabled. but the only other difference between these 2 is 100mhz more speed.
