I know Ubuntu comes with and works with Firefox can I use IE with Ubuntu or do they have iE for Ubuntu?

Ubuntu from my knowledge uses and still uses safari as its primary web browser. Which can be downloaded from http://www.apple.com/safari/.

Ubuntu comes with firefox as default. Safari is only default on Apple distros; OS X, Leopard, Snow Leopard.


You may be able to use IE on Ubuntu, you can always run it through Wine, a "virtual windows" machine on linux.

I personally wouldn't bother with IE on ubuntu, its bad enough to use with windows, I can't imagine how bad it would be on ubuntu.

You can use Google Chrome on Ubuntu too.
