But you were looking for an answer: Go to Tools > Internet Options > Programs > Check the Internet Explorer Should Check... box > Close IE > Open IE > Confirm Default Message

tremmor Well-Known Member Jan 31, 2009 #6 when you start ie it will ask if you want to make the default browser. at least with xp.

Click to expand... If you want to do something, do it right the first time. Being lazy is a horrible habbit and putting in the extra work is always the best option.

E EGS banned Feb 3, 2009 #9 Don't do that. And don't set FF as your default browser either. Set Google Chrome as your default!
