alright, i've got my computer for about 2 month, ive got a zotac nvidia gefore gtx 285, which i consider very descent, and i was expecting to get some extraordinary fps, so i went to see how many fps i had in WoW , and it says 60, i go on runes of magic, ( oh and by the way, ive maxed out resolution in both) and it says like 60-80 depending on where i am.... i thought id be having something way better than that ... maybe im wrong, dunno if my screen resolution changes something ? actually i don't know much of this, im on 1920x1080... alright, see ya all ! thanks

What is your CPU? On WoW it sounds like you are using vsync which limits your FPS to the same as your monitor's refresh rate regardless of how much faster your GPU can go disabling it causes the screen to 'tear' horizontally (half of two frames displayed at once). I don't know runes of magic enough to tell you anything about if 60-80 is slow.

Please download PC Wizard and install it from my sig. Run it and click FILE, SAVE AS and click OK. Copy the contents out of that text file into this thread. Also, record what psu model and make into this thread. Take the side of the PSU and read the sticker if you are unsure.

Then we can let you know what is going on.

Update windows to SP2.
Update nVidia drivers: http://us.download.nvidia.com/Windows/195.62/195.62_desktop_win7_winvista_32bit_english_whql.exe
Update chipset drivers: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/con...D=&DwnldId=18494&strOSs=&OSFullName=&lang=eng
Update Direct X: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...FamilyID=2da43d38-db71-4c1b-bc6a-9b6652cd92a3

Then take the side off your computer and look at the power box (PSU) lable and post here what brand and model number (or watts) it is. Also with that hardware config, you really need a 64bit OS as the video memory and other components 'eat into' the 4GB RAM availability due to the 32bit limitations.

Update the software and post what PSU it is and then we can know more.
