depends on what graphics card. you can have a 5000+ with 12 gigs of ram. but if you have onboard video then good luck playing an fps game.

Well, any laptop can fulfill your demand i think. Hmm, about the graphics card, it's also known as Integrated Intel Extreme Graphics or GMA. The newer laptop, with chipset 915, are provided with GMA 900, sharing up to 128mb, i think u can play some but not much games on it, as long as your have sufficient memory, recommanded 512mb.

Yeah this will be 512mb and it is shared 128mb. Only game I will be playing is 1.6 and that should play it fine. It's out of stock though...

even the original engine, before the 1.5 steam updated engine recommended a graphics accelerator.

2. Why not try fr some refurbished or second hand system rather.

please give reasons why instead of just bashing them because you see other people do it. it might not compare with a pentium 4 or an athlon 64 but not everyone needs a fast processor for a laptop.
