Installation Error.....

Hi, I'm programming student and using Desktop PC with Windows XP Home Edition. I'm trying to install a programming software named " 3D Developer Studio VC++ V602" but I had facing a problem....

After I lanuch the software application, and an error appear....

"Can't run 16-bit windows program"
"Cannot find file C:\Windows\_$MVBSetup_\setup.exe (or one of its components). Check to ensure the path and filename are correct and that all required libraries are available.":confused:

If that software installs a desktop shortcut or you create one off of the Programs menu you could try right clicking on that to change the compatability mode. On the third tab there you simply check off the "run this program in ... 95 - 98 mode" box. XP does offer support for 16bit apps. Another problem may be the lack of one or more files that failed to copy to the drive during the installation.
