iPhone Screen Replacement

Glass can be weird like that. My friend has dropped his iphone many times, but just not in that right way yet to crack the glass.

Actually, the casing on his is doing a lot worse than the screen. It's kinda splitting in half :eek:

Good job though mep, it's always rewarding when you do it yourself.

Overall, I'm happy with the finished product. At first, there were some issues with internet browsing (some of the touch functions didn't work correctly), so I removed the phone from the casing and reattached the #2 cable, it was loose. There's a tiny fingerprint visible on the other side of the glass, but that's only noticeable when the screen is off. The quality of the glass appears to be on par with Apple's, though there are some minor differences, none really worth mentioning.

It took me about 3 hours and I saved around 80 bucks doing it myself. I'd do it again if I had to.
Great to hear you were able to do it yourself;)

Makes a great side project as well for making a little cash here and there.
