There are many producs in the market ,but according to the use frequency,this

i see that some laptops dont have a dial up modem, is there a way of using it??
now down the road im going to use cricket broadband but for now i have to use dial up.

You can get a USB adapter for a dial-up modem, you don't want a sempron if you're video editing. :)

it is a little faster but it is also more expensive and i was trying to keep the price lower here is a laptop for $470 and although it is a gateway, as long as you treat and take care of your laptop decentely you shouldn't have any problems.

For some odd reason, on more than one forum I frequent, Best Buy links often work for the one posting the link, but not for anyone else (it's not working for me either). If we have any IT specialists here, perhaps they know why.
