If you had the time, you could build something better for the same or less cost.

Time to learn and save some money. ;)

The Dell PC you picked has no dedicated graphics card. If you wanted to game you'd have to upgrade the machine right after you purchased it.

Definitely junk, you really want to build one yourself. Better parts and in most cases a 3 year warranty on motherboard, cpu, power supply. Lifetime warranty on memory and at least a 2 year warranty on hard drives, up to 5 years on WD Black drives.

The AMD A8 5500 has an integrated HD 7560D graphics chip, it's for light gaming. That's a very basic machine. It will run most standard software (office, basic photo and video editing, media players, etc.).

Because you are in college and trying to save money, you might want to look at open source software. Most of it is free.
