JTM's i5 Build Preview

Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone could go over my build and recommend any changes. The build is primarily going to be used for gaming and virtualization.

I already have a case(Antec 1200), PSU(750w PC Power Cooling) and HDD.

Thanks for looking! My target budget for the listed components is 700-ish. The build as it stands is around 700.

Looks pretty good..its similar to my build.. Id go with an HD 6870 instead of 5870...the 6xxx series are better at crossfire and performance....also newer is never worse..

From what I've read the 6870 performs a little lower than the 5870 stock. I'm most likely not going to Crossfire in the near future so I think the 5870 would be a better fit. I have heard that the 6870's Crossfire really well though.

Ditch the 5870 and go 6950 1GB for $214.
