Laptop Wireless question...

My bro got a laptop with wireless, & i'm using my next door neighbor qwest-wireless network for free. lol! and they dunno about it.
can i get sue, or get in trouble? or anything like that?

It is illegal to do so, and also imorral. Ask your neighbours permission, then it becomes neither illegal nor imorral. People have been fined and I believe jailed for piggybacking someone else's network. Your neighbour might be foolish not to encrypt the network, but that doesn't give you the right to steal a service he paid for. It's no different to splicing into someone else's premium cable tv.
