Large Digital Picture Frame?

I would like to hang a large Digital Picture frame on the wall so I can have rotating pictures and moving pictures with sound. So I can spend $2,000 for a large digital picture frame or I can buy a LED 42 inch or larger TV (LED TV are lighter) and hang it on the wall hook up to a super cheap computer for half the price. Does anyone have suggestions or advice?

If you're really only going to use it for pictures, get a TV with an SD card reader and play them through that, or any TV and add and Apple TV and stream the pictures from another computer in the house.
