LED vs non LED

So I'm looking at a new monitor, and I want to know if LED is worth it. I've heard that its easier on the eyes and it will use less power. Is it worth the extra money? The extra money is about a $80 difference. Thanks.

Hmm, 80$? I see only 15-20$ difference .
Maybe because I live somewhere else...
I got a led. It got more colors then an LCD and the things that you said.

Power saving is almost always worth it. You may pay a little more now, but it pays itself back by saving on the energy bills over a long period of time.

I'm looking at 120hz monitors. LED is a requirement I have because my current monitor is not, but if it doesn't make that much of a difference, I can live without it.
