LNK program

I was messing about and accidently (I'm an amateur) changed all the LNK program icons to open with notebook (dont ask!)
I can't change it back- any help is gratefully appreciated!

What EXACTLY did you do.
Tell me, step by step.

Right click on LNK
Save link as
double click on folder icon
selected run, run, run and yes (when asked) but nothing happened

Does the computer need to be restarted?

After downloading the file did you unzip it?
After unzipping, you should see lnk_fix_w7.reg file.
