Media sharing: which is the best?

i know that i want to get a p2p media sharing program, but i dont know which one will be the safest, and have the highest number of availible files for sharing.
i know that avoiding really small files and porn are 2 ways to not get any unwanted files on your computer. what else can you do? i am only going to get music though.

Downloading of copyrighted material (including music) using p2p software is illegal and against the forum rules to discuss. Furthermore it would seem this is your intention.
