Mobile Broadband Internet - DL Speeds

Hey guys, I just got my Virgin Mobile Broadband with 4gb of bonus data. Currently I'm getting about 2 Megabits per second, is this normal? What download speeds are you getting with your Mobile Broadband?

Mobile broadband isn't as reliable as DSL or fibre because they use cell tower netbooks so as soon as someone watches a video on their iPhone or android phone on the same tower the speed of your dongle will go down. But anyway I got 3MB on my Vodafone IRL MiFi unlimited data plan and 7MB in the city!

I usually get about 1 meg on on my Verizon Mifi 3G average, which is pretty good.
I did a few test in the same location.
