my connection drops every now and then, how do i fix it?

My connection drops every now and then and it's frustrating. I'll be searching one website then go to another one and a page error will come up. It happens pretty often, but not every time. Also when i play a game online, i lose my connection every time while i'm playing. That's really annoying. I have a wgr614v5 wireless router. Hopefully someone can help.

Mine also drops alot. I have a Vista/Windows 7 desktop with a USB Wi-Fi adapter made by Linksys. It's a few years old and is G.

I want to figure out if the connection problem is with the router or with the adapter on my computer. Any advice on doing so?

What does your signal strenth show from the usb adapter?
