My laptop OVERHEATS

OK Ive got a Fujitsu L7320 1.5gb ram 80gb hdd and etc. etc.
and i was on it and it suddenly turned off, the power adapter was in, i felt the side of the PC it was boiled it worked again but it was boiling hot i opened it up but i noticed there was a sheet of metal and a piece of plastic covering the ventilation area on the bottom so i think that's why, i secured everything i got Intel celeron m 1.7ghz

so please tell me how to fix it if you no

That's probably the intake vent, so yeah, I'd take that off.

Did you just buy this and that was part of the packaging?

no its not part of the pckage becuz when i opened it ( the bottom cover)

there was some metal over the plastic cover

so now i drilled some holes in the bottom it does not look good bu who cares

i know what my cpu runs at 52 degrees c
my hdd 38
umm thats all i know

is it fine or not please tell me becuz its my only workin laptop and i dont want this to break

make sure it doesn't have any metal flakes in it from the drill. pictures always help. or get the model number from the model number from the bottom then Google it fora disassembly guide and that should give some pics of what it should like.

well sounds like to you fixed it and that it was a bent up heat shield or something of the sort and fixed it your self.
