My screen is black with white writing and purple window titles

What is this and how can I fix this?

Re-seat your monitor cable.

Might be windows too!

On xp go to display properties and go to the apperance tab. Next, use scroll down number 2 for themes!
Windows 7: go to personalize and make sure not on high contrast!

TRY OTHER MONITOR OR BAD VIDEO CARD!
