I was running all our virus programs on my gfs computer. Monthly maintanance. We ran malwarebytes, superantispyware, and then an avast run. Avast found 3 files, 2 of which is got rid of the other it could not locate. It then recommended a boot scan which we did and it completed. Once windows restarted is when the problem began.

Symptoms are no programs will open. Start menu will open and you can go into control panel , but nothing past that. No mozilla, no programs at all. So mouse is responsive.

Any ideas.

Computer was running ok prior to all of this, just wanted to do some scans to ensure computer was clean.

It must have scanned a system file and removed it. Check the removal chest and see if it's in there. If it is, restore it and restart.

After a system restore from earlier today everything is back to normal, but still worried that the computer may be at risk

The only things in the virus vault are

dev/s/adgredy.class
dev/s/dyesyasz.class
dev/s/loaderx.class

kernal32.dll
kernal32.dll

those are the only things in the vault. Should those be in there???

Just redo your maintenance as well as installing a 3rd-party firewall program like Comodo and CCleaner as a registry cleaner.
