Hi,

first thing I noticed was that the case is ATX, where as the motherboard is micro ATX you might find you have a problem fitting the motherboard into the case... not sure though.

an ATX case will fit a mATX board. just like an eATX case will fit an ATX and mATX board. as loong as it is ATX and not another form factor (like BTX) you should be fine.

I would also recommend having a atx motherboard. Make sure that if you plan to crossfire or run dual video cards in sli, make sure that you have the pci express slots and the configuration to run double wide cards. Just something to think about. The boards that daisymtc posted looked good to me. as far as intel or amd, that really is up to personal preference. with the i5 that you selected I don't think that there is an amd model out that will perform better than the i5. From what I have gathered from other users on the forum, Intel seems to better for overclocking but amd is a bit cheaper. I am currently running an amd processor and have no problems at all with it.
Moving on to your gpu. I noticed that you posted a card with a chipset from ATI. People have said that gpu's work better when they are partnered with the right brand processor. amd and ati, intel and nvidia. I think that most of the problems happen when your motherboard has an onboard video chipset that does not match your gpu chipset. The hd 5770 is a good card but I might look into something that has a 256 bit interface. this will increase performance. I looked at that card as well but in the end I chose a radeon 4850. take a look at this card it is a bit more expensive, but i think that the performance will be much better.

I hope that this helps with the build!

I cant seem to find that card salvage-this suggested in newegg.ca, any other suggestions?
I dont know how to overlock so i need more help

Edit:
hmm in canada it seems a bit overpriced but as long as it performs better ill go for it. http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814143197

The BFG card is what I thought would be good for my system. If I were you I would search a bit more to find out what card would best fit your situation/price range.

I would go with the 5770. The gtx260 is only using slightly slower gddr3 which is fine seeing as theres a 448bit memory bus though the 5770 has gddr5 memory so that's not a problem. The 5770 also has a lower power consumption, supports up to three monitors and has a cool exhaust look. Its up to you though.
