nero on vista

I have nero version 6. it came with an external dvd recorder I just bought about 4 weeks ago, I loaded it on vista using ( run older program compatability wizzard) so it loaded the software but nero wont run, a window pops up saying the program was stopped..anyone able to run nero on vista or any ideas how to get nereo 6 goin? thanxs

nero is one of the many programs with known compatability problems with vista...

yes I know that...now how about a solution? anywhere out there in cyber space....( mabe nero)..

i just doen loaded nero 7 essentials..a demo version to see if it would work with vista..so far no problems...it installee without any errors and ran fine...hopefully those gremlins will stay away...

Its just not Nero 7, you'll need Nero 7.8. I'm not sure if 7.8 is the earliest version that works under Vista, but 7.8 is what I'm using and it works fine.
