New DVD writer any suggestions for vista

Hi Guys. I need to get a new DVD writer for my system well probably 2, I was just wondering what's the best to go for if I am running Vista or is most companies up to date with their drivers now? I hear LG a very good?

LG is an acronym for LIFE is GOOD. Well not really, you get the idea. I have 3 LG PATA super multi drives and 1 LG SATA super multi drive. I also have 1 NEC super multi drive too. Don't stray , do not buy drives like I/O magic on sale at staples , best buy etc. Go here you can get a great drive for around $30.

read the stats make sure DL ( double layer )
I remember not so long ago when a cdrom 4x reader, just a reader, was $300.

yeah I forgot how much my first cd burner costs. It was a 2x, I got it as a present. I think it was like $275. I remeber that the blank 650meg cd-r media was $1.75 each to $2.00 , so 25 cost like $50.
