New Laptop blue screens?

I am also downloading the program (ill run it when i get home), my computers fan is going crazy since this happened too.

When you get home you can go on asus and put your info or use the auto detect and it will give you the list of drivers for your card. You need to use the drivers from asus as branded computers like dell or asus or etc... need to use certain drivers from the manufacturer of the computer.

Since you JUST bought that computer, I would call ASUS first to make sure they haven't had any recalls for your computer's hardware/software or issued any emergency repair bulletins.

For instance Dell had a horrible problem with laptop batteries catching fire. They tried to keep it quiet for awhile, but they finally admitted it was happening. One caught fire at a computer expo before that model had even been released (if my memory serves correctly). For years HP laptops had problems with brand new motherboards burning up for no good reason other than poor design.

Hey guys,
it stopped doing it for 2 weeks now its doing it again
Updates:
The blue screen now says DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE
the card isn't overheating i downloaded HW Monitor, i tried to update the drivers but it said there were 83 drivers so i didn't bother as i didn't know which i'd need or to select etc

if someone could try and help me thanks!

Since it is still under warranty, I would call the manufacturer. They will (hopefully) replace it since it is only a month old.

no worries, i also notice it only happens when i play games and the fan or something seems to blow hard and cold air comes out of the laptop? the only time i get the BSOD is when that happens if the laptop is running like it is now normal and blows warm air out it NEVER happens. :/

OK, unfortunately what you zipped up was a shortcut to the file, which isn't doing me any good. Try zipping it up again. If it won't work I'll have you email it to me.

Can't you just attach it to an email? Shouldn't need to open the file.
