Is over clocking a mac mini possible?

Not an extravagant over clock, but enough to notice a difference. Or since its using a Core Duo, could I just upgrade to an e6300?

And, I take it the gpu can not play CSS? While using windows. *Dual Booted*

Consider the motherboard in it, I doubt it will let you OC. Plus the heat, in something so small and plastic is a good insulator. So, I am saying not worth it.

I would go by the Apple store and see what they say about upgrading RAM, and the price will probably be jacked up. So just get their advice and run with it, find an alternative method.

Some applications like Aperture won't run with say 512mb of RAM and in fact Aperture won't even install. Although to get 2GB of RAM from Apple was going to cost £400, considering I could get it for £120...

I want to upgrade the processor to a C2D lol.
Is there a certain type of mac mini that will allow a processor upgrade?
And, I will upgrade the RAM to 1gb.


I plan to buy it in the apple store.

dont buy it from the apple store any frys electronics or other ram retailers have memory specifically for macs either laptop of desktop. .. i work at frys in the cage they keep all that in so i kno ;)
