overclocking question.

i got the 9800 gtx along with 4gb ram (vista shows 1 of it) today and would love to start over clocking. i have e6600 core 2 duo, p5nsli mobo, 3gb ram, 9800gtx. i went to bios and really messed my stuff up but i fixed it. now when i try to overclock it says something about cmos being resetted and will not let me overclock. does anyone know what might be wrong?

You have entered bad settings and your computer can't boot with.
Look on your mobo, there is a jumper "clrcmos". Move it on the other position for a few seconds than set it back like it was. It will reset your cmos in stock settings.

In your overclock, be patient and augment the FSB slowly. Don't touch voltages in the beginning
