Please Help - Very Important

My Matshita UJ-810 dvd/cd drive (it's for a Sony Vaio PCV-W1) will not open when I click it's eject button. I have to go into my computer and right click and select to eject it. Also it seems to be unable to read cds/dvds. Any help there? Oddly enough I went into my computer properties and looked at the status. It says it's working properly and it's enabled...

It's not too uncommon for CD/DVD drives to start acting up like that, and still be detected fine. I see that computer is one of those really odd ones I saw a while back at Best Buy(at least that's what came up in Google) Does it use a regular 5.25" drive, or is it a smaller laptop drive? If it's a regular drive, it shouldn't be that hard to find a replacement for pretty cheap. I'm quite sure that's all you'd need.
