I need to know which is a better processor.
Core i3-2120, 3.3GHz, 3M, VT-x, 65W
vs.
Intel Core 2 Duo 3.0 GHz 8400

And for video cards:
1GB AMD RADEON HD 6450 Graphics w/ Single DP/DVI, Low Profile,
vs.
NVidia Gforce 9400

Can anyone tell me what is better? I play World of Warcraft, and do alot of multi-Tasking stuff on my computer.
I appreciate the help thanks!

The i3 will outperform the Core2 Duo.

Comparing the video cards, the GeForce will outperform the Radeon.

i3 2100 is better, the 2120 has hd3000 igpu and the 2100 has hd2000, since you're getting a gpu you want the 2100 to save 15 bucks and ther hd 6450 beats that other i think

Only problem is as I pointed out in the other thread that was made is that they are 2 different slot processors so we would need to know what motherboard the OP has.

No. Benchmarks show otherwise.

I completely agree with this. second gen i3 has the full advantage, I love the new chip set design.

as well as the geforce vs. the radeon.

you are not getting ripped off. The 990 has a newer, better CPU. as for the GPU, if you can not save your GeForce, then the HD will do fine for WOW.

^+1 on this. Your new system (besides the vid card) is leaps and bounds better.

It beats it a crap load, but a single gpu at the same price will kill those 2, but you'll be fine either way

and btw an i was actually looking at alienwares earlier and realized how overpriced they are, way more than i already thought, if you pay attention, the upgrades cost the retail amount, even though there's already a gpu price included in there, they don't care they leave the price for it but don't remove it, and that's between 2 and 300 you lose

Both i3 2100 and 2120 has HD2000 igpu

The one that use HD3000 is called i3 2105

I'd go with the i3 and nVidia.

IMO I'd go with an i5 and try to go for a 9800GT by nVidia, it shouldn't be much more money and would give you more performance. I just can't see a 9400 running WoW all that well..
