Possible Itunes Recovery????

Is there any way to recover songs that you have previously bought on Itunes?
I had them on my old HP, but it has crashed (lost all data, even the OS). Now id like to find a way to get them onto my Thinkpad.
The obvious ways can not be used, i never had an IPOD, and it was not rerite capible, so i couldnt back them up on cd's.

Contact Itunes. Not sure if they keep a record of what you've bought or not.

Apple policy is that you're responsible for backing up your music, however if you contact customer support directly they've been know to let you redownload your purchases once.

Yep. I am not sure about entire libraries, but they have given me credits for song's that were deleted accidentally, to redownload.

If you still have the songs on an iPod/iPhone you can plug it into the computer and right click on the device and select transfer purchased songs. It will transfer any music you have purchased from the iPod to the library.
