I really haven't been keeping up with hardware and computer/laptop prices... or even the specs and i'm completely astonished at the price of them. I know its normal but i can't get over how cheap they are. I spent €1500 (euro!!!) on a laptop about 3 years ago (i know thats a long time but still...) with a spec like:
Same with desktops... i built mine last year with a spec like: 2.66GHz core 2 duo, 4gb ocz ram, 500gb hdd (+second 320gb), an abit quad gt ab9 mobo, vista ultimate (dont ask why ), standard case, and a standard dvd/cd drive for about €1300.
Now, you could buy that for clean toilet paper!
AND... what's more annoying, if you were to find a laptop for that price now, it would probably include the bloody Gold Codes!
Sorry to go off on a rant but this world is cruel
Opinions?
